Sunday 29th December - Rob’s 26th Birthday!! ***** Les Arc skiing

Got up and had breakfast and then the usual mad getting ready for skiing. Drove to the Funicular and went up on that. The snow was wonderful and we were out for 7 hours! Great fun skiing with the hurrells (Linda stayed in the apartment which she is more than happy to do:)). The lifts were crowded and the people were aggressive with their lift queue techniques!! We had our lunch sitting up at the top of Peisey Vallandry and really enjoyed reminiscing about when we were here 14 years ago:) It doesn’t look that different, just a new little cabin restaurant here and there. Went over to Les Arcs and did lots and lots of skiing and it was good but a bit chilly. I enjoyed going off-piste with Lee and Will and only lost the others twice!!! We were on the way back when Mag got taken out by a snowboarder about 10 years old! She fell and face planted in the snow bank and bruised her shin on her boots:) It happened when I had got separated from them (again) but Will stayed and helped her get up. Came down on the funicular and went to the Super U to get some vegetables to go with the tarteflette we made for everyone tonight. Played cards and chatted tonight.
